General Die Casters (GDC) was established in 1957 and currently operates three factories in two locations in northeastern Ohio (USA). The $300,000-plus factory has more than 200 employees and specializes in high-pressure aluminum and zinc die casting.

The company serves many industries, including automobiles, lawns and gardens, transportation and energy production.

Long before manufacturing molds, our engineering team worked with our customers to study their requirements and manufacturability optimization. The engineers of General Die Caster use the latest software, such as Magmasoft Flow Simulation and real-time injection monitoring, to develop the best process control. We also provide CNC machining to resolve very strict tolerances. We can turn parts up to 15 inches in diameter and keep the tolerances at +/- .008 mm and .0003 inches. Our high-speed machining has 4-axis and 5-axis milling capabilities and a 50” x 20” machine housing.

We pride ourselves on quality and use a variety of tools such as Zeiss coordinate measuring machines, real-time X-rays and Micro Vu optical comparators. We have passed ISO 9001:2015 registration and promise and show their confidence to our customers. GDC also invests in robotic cells and collaborative robots to maximize the safety and efficiency of our manufacturing.
